Twice each year, we host a Tour and Information Morning at the College. Future families are warmly invited to come along, chat with our team, experience the campus on a student-led tour, and enjoy morning tea.
The next Tour and Information Morning for prospective families will be held on Thursday, 6th August 2026, 9am-12pm.
If you are interested in joining our Boarding community, we encourage and welcome all prospective families to come and visit the College. We perform individual boarding tours Monday to Friday during the school terms by appointment.
Since the College was founded in 1880, the Bursary Program has extended the gift of a Jesuit education to families who otherwise may not have the means. The program is funded thanks to the generosity of donors and equips students with the skills and abilities to flourish at the College and beyond.
We are accepting now for 2028 until 31 July 2026.

The Yalari Scholarship supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students by providing full educational opportunities at leading Australian schools, including Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview. The program identifies young people with strong potential and offers them access to quality schooling, mentoring and long term support. Yalari works closely with families, communities and partner schools to ensure each student is guided academically, culturally and personally throughout their secondary education.

Boarders
Boarding applications are welcome at any time for students seeking enrolment in Years 6–12.
You are welcome to apply for a place at the College for your son at any time from birth. For entry into Year 5, applications are accepted up until September 1st of your son’s Year 1, and for entry into Year 7, up until September 1st of Year 3. All applications received by the closing date for the requested year of entry are given equal consideration, with no preference based on when they were submitted.
In considering applications for enrolment, the College gives thoughtful regard to a range of factors. While no placement can be guaranteed, priority is generally given to the following (in no particular order of merit):
In each case, applications are considered holistically, with attention to the student’s spiritual, academic, social, and physical development. No single factor is considered in isolation. Rather, the College seeks to understand each young person as a whole, and to welcome those who are likely to thrive within and contribute to the life of a supportive, well-rounded educational community.
