The gift of education
Since the College was founded in 1880, the Bursary Program has extended the gift of a Jesuit education to families who otherwise may not have the means. The program is funded thanks to the generosity of donors and equips students with the skills and abilities to flourish at the College and beyond.

First Nations Program
The College actively commits to redressing the inequalities of access and educational outcomes by supporting First Nations students to their highest potential through the First Nations Program.
The College acknowledges and embraces the depth of culture and identity brought to us by the First Nations students and families.

Partnership Programs
Yalari Scholarship
The Yalari Scholarship supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students by providing full educational opportunities at leading Australian schools, including Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview. The program identifies young people with strong potential and offers them access to quality schooling, mentoring and long term support. Yalari works closely with families, communities and partner schools to ensure each student is guided academically, culturally and personally throughout their secondary education.
