From the pitch to the podium
The Co-Curriculum Program at Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview plays an essential role in forming well-rounded young men who are willing to challenge themselves beyond the classroom. Through a diverse range of opportunities spanning sport, music, drama, debating, and specialised interest groups, students are encouraged to discover new passions and extend existing talents.
Sport and co-curricular activities are seen as key agents in the development of the whole person. Whether representing the College on the field, collaborating with peers onstage, or participating in community initiatives, students learn to value teamwork, humility, and responsibility—qualities that shape their character well beyond school life. The Co-Curriculum Program helps young men to accept success and failure with grace and dignity, to work co-operatively with others, and to use the qualities of each to contribute to the greater advantage of the community.
