Join the Riverview community

At Riverview you become part of a team dedicated to educating young men in the Jesuit tradition.

Our campus sits on 110 acres beside the Lane Cove River, just 15 minutes from Sydney’s CBD — offering a unique “village-school” environment that blends natural surroundings, heritage buildings and outstanding facilities.

We employ a broad range of professionals: teachers, coaches, support staff, operations and property services, health services, administrators and more. Everyone plays a part in creating a supportive, caring environment grounded in the principle of “cura personalis” — care for the whole person.

What we offer

A culture of continuous growth: staff enjoy dedicated professional development days and generous development allowances.

Wellness support: access to on-site health services including a doctor, as well as recreational facilities including a gym, pool and tennis courts.

A chance to make a difference beyond the classroom: opportunities in boarding supervision, coaching, mentoring in sport, arts, debating and other enrichment areas — letting you share your passions with students.

A welcoming community: a variety of roles from teaching to property services, support to administration. We value collaboration, innovation and a shared commitment to student well-being.

Roles, volunteering and expressions of interest

We regularly recruit for teaching and non-teaching roles. If there are no current vacancies that match your experience, you’re encouraged to submit an expression of interest — particularly if you offer skills in coaching, mentoring, arts, boarding supervision or other areas of student enrichment.

We also welcome volunteers from the wider community. Whether it’s occasional help in the canteen or support for school events, volunteers play a valued role in College life.

What we value

We value people who:

  • Care about holistic education, including academic, physical, spiritual and social growth
  • Can collaborate across disciplines and bring energy to co-curricular life (sport, arts, mentoring, support)
  • Commit to our Jesuit values: service, justice, conscience, compassion and personal growth
  • Seek a workplace that supports wellbeing, ongoing learning and community contribution

Commitment to Safety and Integrity

Riverview is deeply committed to safeguarding children and young people. All staff and volunteers undergo a rigorous screening process, including identity and reference checks, and a Working With Children Check (or the NSW equivalent), prior to appointment.

Our recruitment processes follow strict policies on privacy, conduct and child safety. These apply to all roles — full time, part time, casual or volunteer.
