Tour and Information Mornings
Twice a year, Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview warmly welcomes future families to our Information Session and Tour Morning. This is an opportunity to meet our team, explore the campus on a student-led tour, and enjoy morning tea in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

The next Information Session and Tour Morning for prospective families will be held on Thursday, 6 August 2026, from 9am to 12pm.

Boarding tours
Prospective families interested in joining our Boarding community are warmly invited to visit Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview. Individual boarding tours are offered Monday to Friday during school terms by appointment, providing an opportunity to experience life in the Boarding House and learn more about the supportive and vibrant community we offer.

Teaching and learning spaces
Our classrooms and specialist learning areas are designed to foster both focused study and collaborative learning. Students have access to well-equipped laboratories, creative arts studios, music rooms, and spaces dedicated to technology and innovation. These facilities enable teachers to deliver a broad and engaging curriculum, supported by resources that enhance student learning.
Sports and recreation
Riverview offers extensive sporting facilities that encourage physical activity, teamwork, and wellbeing. The Gartlan Sports Centre provides indoor courts, a heated pool, a climbing wall, and fitness areas, while outdoor ovals and recreational spaces support training, games, and weekend activities. These environments help students develop healthy habits, resilience, and a love of sport.
Boarding precinct
The College’s boarding houses, located at the heart of the campus, offer safe and comfortable accommodation for students from across Australia and overseas. Each house includes study areas, communal lounges, and recreation spaces, supported by a 24-hour Health Centre and close access to staff. The boarding precinct provides a welcoming and caring environment where students feel connected and supported.
Riverfront and Boathouse
Riverview’s unique location along the Lane Cove River offers opportunities for rowing, canoeing, kayaking, and other water-based activities. The Boathouse stores equipment for training and recreation, and the riverfront provides a distinctive setting for outdoor learning and personal challenge.
Creative spaces
Music, drama, and visual arts flourish in dedicated rehearsal, practice, and performance spaces. Students can pursue individual or collaborative creative interests in well-equipped studios and ensemble rooms, developing confidence, skill, and self-expression in the arts.
Grounds and outdoor areas
The College grounds include gardens, walking paths, and natural spaces that foster reflection and wellbeing. Facilities such as Faber Farm and the Agricultural Precinct offer hands-on learning experiences and opportunities to engage with the environment, helping students connect with the land and their community.
