Regis Campus is a dynamic and welcoming learning community where boys are encouraged to grow in every aspect of their lives—academically, personally, spiritually and through service.
Each day offers a balance of strong classroom learning and rich co-curricular opportunities, from public speaking and the arts to sport, ministry and hands-on STEM experiences.
Our dedicated staff foster curiosity, confidence and a love of learning, guiding students to think deeply, take risks and make thoughtful choices. With access to excellent facilities and specialist teaching across a range of disciplines, boys are supported to build strong foundations while discovering and developing their individual strengths.
Above all, Regis is a place of connection, energy and purpose. I warmly invite you to experience our community firsthand.
Warm regards,
Caitlin Remeeus
Director of Regis
Named after the French Jesuit Saint John Regis SJ, whose work in the 1600s involved teaching, caring for the sick, supporting the poor, and defending the Faith through his preaching, the Regis Campus provides a dedicated setting for boys in Years 5 and 6.
Regis students study a broad and exciting curriculum, largely determined by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), including English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, History and Geography (HSIE), Creative Arts, Music, PDHPE, Languages, and Religion, supported by a strong cultural, sporting and co-curricular offering.
Students are encouraged to extend themselves beyond typical age expectations through opportunities for acceleration and enrichment. Extension classes are offered in English and Maths along with extension opportunities across all learning domains, allowing boys to engage with rigorous content that challenges their thinking and deepens their understanding. These experiences nurture higher-order thinking skills that benefit learning across all subject areas and prepare students for high school and lifelong learning.
Our commitment to inclusion and diversity is reflected in our comprehensive learning enrichment support system and support programs. Dedicated learning support teachers and teaching assistants work closely with students before school and throughout the day to ensure each boy is known, supported and guided to reach his full potential. In the spirit of compassion and community, we strive to ensure no child is left behind.

Additional Courses
At Regis, each student is supported by their Homeroom teacher, who develops a strong and ongoing relationship with both the boy and his family, serving as the first point of care and communication.
Students also form meaningful connections with their Mentor teacher through fortnightly House mentor group meetings. These sessions provide opportunities to celebrate achievements through the merit system, take part in friendly House competitions, build peer relationships, and deepen their understanding of Ignatian values.
Students in Years 5 and 6 are encouraged to complete up to one hour of homework each night. This includes 15 minutes of musical instrument practice and 15 minutes of reading. Homework supports regular study habits. This time may involve set tasks, revision or extension work from class.
At the start of every term, an overview of assessments for each key learning area is shared with students and parents. Assessments are conducted in a variety of ways throughout the school year, and students are expected to take pride in their bookwork and prepare for them.
Progress is communicated to families through scheduled reporting periods:
Additional testing may be used where needed to build a complete learning profile for each student. These results help inform learning support, enrichment and extension programs when appropriate.
Co-Curricular for All
Co-curricular activities are encouraged and optional for all students. The vast range of activities are conducted before school at lunchtimes and after school.
The Music Activities Program is a curriculum based instrumental experience designed to give students in Years 5 and 6 the opportunity to learn instruments in a group lesson lasting 45 minutes each week. It provides a stepping stone for many students to join the extensive co-curricular music ensemble program offered both at Regis and the Senior school. Students with advanced skills in music are also catered for. Generally, students in Year 5 begin on strings and have the option of switching to woodwind instruments in Year 6. For more information, please contact the Regis Music teacher, Mr Arne Tripolone on atripolone@riverview.nsw.edu.au
Private Music/Speech and Drama Tuition Program Alongside regular classes in music and drama, students also can pursue these interests further through private tuition in instruments, voice and musicianship, speech and drama. Regular opportunities are provided for performance in lunchtime concerts, studio recital and College musicals.
We strive to encourage all our students to participate and enjoy sporting activities, both in team or individual sports, whether for competition, fitness or just for fun during mentor games and social recreation.
Our sports department consists of Regis Sports Master, Regis homeroom teachers with sports capabilities and coaches that are among the best in the industry, often having played with expansive experience reaching national level themselves. In addition, alumni students also coach our junior teams. Our students experience excellent sporting facilities, including an indoor heated pool, six playing fields, basketball courts, Gartlan fitness centre and tennis courts.
Regis Review is the College’s extended afterschool tuition program where participating Regis students remain from 3.15 to 5.15pm, Mondays to Thursdays, for literacy, maths and reading tuition, as well as homework assistance. Tuition groups are small and led by experienced teachers and tutors.
At the core of our pastoral care is a commitment to teach, model and support the students at the Regis campus to be kind. Additionally, all students, families and Regis staff have the right to a safe and supportive learning environment. In line with this, all members of the Regis community share the responsibility to foster, encourage and promote positive behaviour and respectful relationships.
The Regis staff community uphold the principles of cura personalis – ‘care for the individual’ – by adhering to the Regis Behaviour Support Guidelines and Procedures. This helps to build a sense of acceptance, inclusion and connectedness for all students. Regis staff share responsibility with parents to develop a positive wellbeing culture.
We make a conscious commitment to show respect, compassion, and competence in achieving. We show respect by teaching students to live responsibly in a community with others, fostering compassion, commitment, competence, conscious decision-making, and forgiveness, and promoting respectful relationships. The daily educational process is intended to help Regis students make a conscious choice to be a ‘man for and with others’, living a responsible and coherent way of life at Regis.
