National Youth Parliament

Thank you to The Y Australia (company) and the Honourable Milton Dick MP for organising the inaugural National Youth Parliament and giving me the opportunity to represent my electorate of Sydney. It was great to discuss and debate the needs of 150 youth members from each electorate, ranging from the regulation of AI to intergenerational fairness, while discussing the Sydney electorate with the Honourable Tanya Plibersek. The experience taught me the importance of maintaining youth engagement in democracy, especially in a landscape where young people continue to feel disenfranchised by the political establishment. I hope many after me have the same opportunity!
