February 2023 saw continued enabling works, establishment of the builders’ site accommodations and other related works.  These works included-

Progressing towards the completion of the builders’/contractors’ and the College staff’s carpark, as well as:

• Installation of semi-permanent fencing between the two carparks
• Laying of pavement material in both parking areas
• Installation of glass reinforced pits, to cover conduits in the contractor’s carpark

Establishment of the Belmadar site compound/accommodation, including:

• Soft spot remedial works and storm water diverting works, to site construction the site compound
• Set up of pier footings and ground works for the site accommodation
• Connection and installation of temporary power board ready for site accommodation

Continuation of enabling works, involving:

• Service locating of existing underground services in the main construction area and
• Services locating near the stage 1 HV feeder relocation trenching works
• Tree protection works
•  Testing, classification, and safe removal of hazardous material off-site
