Dear Member of the Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview Community
We write to share with you information about the Class of 2025 and their academic performance.
Congratulations to our newest Old Ignatians on their academic results in the Higher School Certificate (HSC). Thank you to these students’ parents, families, and teachers for their contribution to these achievements.
This cohort has made a significant contribution to the life and mission of the College, and we are proud of their achievements. The median ATAR of 87.45 reflects an upward trend, with 41% of students achieving an ATAR above 90. Ten (10) graduates have been named on the Premier’s All-Round Achievers’ List, having attained at least ten units of Band 6 or Band E4 results. In addition, a number of students have been nominated for HSC showcase events in Drama and technology-based subjects.
Julian Criola is our Dux for 2025 with an ATAR of 99.7. Two graduating students share the Proxime Accessit – Ula Punchayil and Charles Spiteri on 99.35.
One student, Dougald Hook – Construction, was named First in Course, and four students were named as Top Achievers in that they were ranked in the top 20 across NSW. These were Dougald Hook (Construction), Campbell Conna (PDHPE), Julian Criola (Italian Continuers), and Oliver Lau (Agriculture).
The Class of 2025 has been committed to their studies and to the broader life of our Jesuit school. Here you will find some data relating to the performance of this Year Group. The College hopes that their studies at Riverview have provided them with the necessary academic foundation to follow their vocation.
Building on the strong performance of our 2025 cohort, we will continue to use the data insights to refine and strengthen our academic program. We do so to honour our commitment to ensuring that every student at the College uses and extends his intellectual gifts.
We wish our College community a peaceful, blessed Christmas.
Yours sincerely
MN Tannock
Principal
