Residence Terms and Conditions

Key criteria that are used as a priority in allocating residences are listed as follows:

  • The nature of employment which may require immediate and ongoing accommodation on site. This is with particular regard to property maintenance and the need for ‘on-call’ response (Necessary on Site);
  • Employment contracts that relate to particular staff whose duties revolve centrally around the life of the College (e.g. Principal, Director of Boarding)(Contract of Employment);
  • Staff who work in the boarding house who need to be available after school hours and on weekends in order to fulfil duties or render services (Boarding);
  • Executive Staff whose duties after hours require their presence in and around the property with exceptional frequency (Special Circumstances);
  • Staff who have special needs based upon family circumstance and demonstrable need (Pastoral Care);
  • Any member of the Riverview community who needs the call of social justice to address acute needs (Pastoral Care).
