Simon Causley has been Coaching tennis at Riverview for over 14 years. SCCoaching works with Beginners including the new Avia Hot Shots implemented by Tennis Australia and other training initiatives including Development Squads for the intermediate players. Full time style programs for players of tournament level wanting to compete at the highest level are also available training every day! Programs are from 6am before School days and after school until 8.30pm. Friday night and all day Saturday and Sunday lessons are available for all ages. School Teams
This year we are enlisting the help of Tennis Engine, a tennis results website, to enable boys to get more match practice and to help coaches get a clear idea of the matches each boy is getting and their results. Each age group has their own ladder. The more matches you play the more the coach will play you in the team. The higher your rank the more chance you will move up a team depending on the players you have beaten or come close to! This is a great way for boys to improve and see their development first hand. Matches can be first to 3 games, 2-all tie breaker at lunch times and sets before or after school or weekends as determined by the coach or players before the match. Results are entered by the winner via their log in. Match courts can be booked in the Pro Shop. Prize to the player playing the most matches by end of season!
