The Chair of College Council, Mr Paul Robertson AM, has announced that the Headmaster, Mr Shane Hogan, has decided to conclude his term as Headmaster of the College at the end of first term, 2013.

Mr Hogan was the first lay person to be appointed Head of School and Headmaster of Saint Ignatius’ College, Riverview since its foundation in 1880.

The Council has commenced a process to recruit a new Headmaster that will include input from various groups within the College community. At this stage the position of Headmaster has been advertised, nationally and internationally, and an international human resources firm has been engaged to assist the search process.
