The Sustainable Living Festival is an exciting initiative for the SIC Environment Committee with lots of planning still underway.

The festival commences with an E-waste collection on Sunday 17th June in the Regis car park. This will tie in with a Sustainable Living Expo with local sustainable living groups and businesses giving advice on how to Live Sustainably.

The committee will have a Sustainable House tour as part of the Expo, discussing how we can make our homes more sustainable. Throughout the week the boys and staff will be holding Sustainable Living Festival events.

Mrs Sharon McLean is leading an environment debate on Wednesday June 20th.

Other members of the environment committee will be holding sustainable living workshops after school on green cleaning, chickens in your backyard, going solar and living sustainably.
