The first meteorological observations at Riverview was on 1st January, 1908 and have been conducted in some areas such as rainfall continuously since them. The equipment for recording data has been up-graded in1993 and the readings of this equipment has been recorded by voluntary neighbours and staff of the College along with computer regerated recordes that are relayed to the Bureau of Meterology.
